Hi, I'm Kritika
A product designer who knows a thing or two.
Also a product designer who could do with learning a thing or two (or three).

I started out as a journalist
I began my career at The New York Times as a contributing reporter and went on to work for several news outlets.
My stories have impacted millions and I loved uncovering stories of power, communities and culture in different parts of India.
It has taught me to truly think about the people I'm designing for and to tell a good story.
Read some of my stories from the The New York Times and Daily Bruin here.
Product Design at Korbit AI
Next, I transitioned to the role of a Product Designer for Korbit AI and helped design an educational AI-driven chatbot.
At Korbit AI, I was one of the first few people hired, wore many hats and was involved in an end-to-end design process.
I played a key role in user research, developing user-friendly interfaces and testing new features.

Class of 2024 Graduate
Masters in HCI + Design, University of Washington
I came to the US and walked right into a recession but besides that…
At UW, I began to see design as an experience rather than just an app or a product. And learned to leverage AI in my work.
The ideas of minimalism and 'Just Enough Design, and no more' inspired by the Japanese philosophy of Hodo-hodo truly resonate with me.
Outside the design world
When I’m not at work, you’ll find me rock climbing (read: clinging onto rock walls for dear life), sketching and trying to cook all sorts of chicken recipes.

I'd love to meet you!
